Origin of the name :
Dummy "Twiggy" in the 60's + Richard Ramirez = Twiggy Ramirez (his true name is Jeordie White)
Considered as the "number 2" by Manson, he arrives in the group in 1992. In the 70's his mother was a naked dancer in a cage during hard rock concerts and his father became mad after a car accident and disappeared when Twiggy was 6 years old.
As a kid he never cut his hair and his schoolmates made fun bullied him. As a teenager, he learnt to accept himself as he started to try his mother's underwear. With his first band "Amboog a lard" he won a slammie awards for the best rhythmic guitarist in 1992.
The stuff he enjoys most is ecstasy and whisky ; it is said that if he had not joined Manson's band, he certainly would have ended as a prostitute. In May 2002, Twiggy Ramirez was kindly sacked by Marilyn Manson, which he did on May 22nd. Twiggy wasn't at ease any more in the group and had lost his taste of working with the other members. Moreover, it seems that he disliked the way the album was going. However, Manson declared that Twiggy will remain an excellent friend….They surely won't spend Christmas together, and New Year's eve either. He has been replaced by Tim Skold ! The latter comes from a German punk-electro-goth group : KMFDM.
In 2004, Twiggy assisted in the production of Nine Inch Nails' album, ‘With Teeth’, and he currently is touring with them to support the album.
